Portland Opera, 2009

La Calisto is a retelling of two Greek myths: Jupiter’s seduction of Calisto, and Diana’s dalliance with Endymion. This production was a full build for the Portland Opera Studio Artists’ program. Sue Bonde designed the costumes.

The pieces I drafted and built for the show are the women’s dresses and the two leather corsets (pictured), the silvery slacks (pictured), and a spectacular peacock dress (not currently pictured, but I’m trying to hunt down an image…). I also worked on the leopard print trench coat.
